Jaguar's car configurator aims to provide a unique user experience by allowing visitors to customize the car they wish to purchase. The brand was faced with two issues while promoting the tool:

  • Most users opt-out before the simulation ends, thus leaving the brand with a highly unqualified traffic;
  • Retargeting strategy based on generic ads failed to reflect the car model they either checked or customized;

Cars have a high personal value to users. Providing a personalized customer experience therefore requires a creative campaign that can reflect the various customization possibilities of the tool.

In classic programmatic campaigns, users are retargeted with randomized ads which do not reflect the product they customize and/or checked online.
